How I get protein during a juice cleanse

The one thing about protein that I know is that it builds our body and we can’t do without it, so how do I get protein during a juice cleanse? Well, I focus on plant based protein.

I used to think that protein was only available through meat, and red meat at that, but I know better now, and when I know better I do better πŸ™‚

Now, to get protein during a juice cleanse I focus on any of the follow vegetables:

  • Broccoli
  • Asparagus
  • Spinach
  • Kale
  • Lettuce
  • Coconut water
  • Parsley
  • Peas

I even juiced brussel sprouts once because I read it is great for protein but I have to admit I am not a fan, unless I can smother it in pineapple juice.

I also use Spirulina and that really ensures I get everything I need.

Plus, for right now, I eat and so I am getting protein from Almond nuts and other foods. I am trying my best to stay away from too much red meat though because I have eaten a lot of it over the years.

You can get protein during a juice cleanse from plants. I guess that’s the lesson I discovered and wanted to include here.

So, if thinking drinking juice will take away your protein you are mistaken. Sticking to green juices will ensure you definitely get enough of it and buying a health powder like Spirulina will help too.
